Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Samuel Sarfo Duku, has expressed confidence in the technical team’s ability to win trophies in the upcoming 2025/26 football season.The Porcupine Warriors will kick off their Ghana Premier League season with an away trip to the Golden City Park to face Berekum Chelsea.After ending the 2024/25 football season with the FA Cup, Sarfo Duku, speaking in an interview, stressed that he is optimistic of winning trophies due to the work done by the technical team led by Abdul Karim Zito.”We are expecting a good season. We may have one or two bad days, but with the work that the technical team are doing, we cannot afford to fail and disappoint our fans,” he told Asempa FM.”I am sure that the team will deliver trophies,” he added.Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will also feature in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup and will face Nigerian side Kwara United in the first round of the preliminary round of games.Kotoko will host Kwara United at the Accra Sports Stadium between September 19 and 21, before travelling to Nigeria for the second leg, scheduled from September 26 to 28.
